Lauren Rudd

Raised in San Luis Obispo, Lauren discovered a passion for design early in life, drawn to the ways spaces influence how people think, feel, and connect. She attended Kansas State University, where she earned her Master's in Interior Architecture and Industrial Design. There, she explored the psychological impact of the built environment, with a focus on neurodiverse and sensory-sensitive design. She applied these principles to her master's thesis, researching and designing a pediatric autism center for an interprofessional cohort.

During her time at Kansas State, Lauren also had the opportunity to study abroad in Orvieto, Italy, where she studied the art of live graphite sketching and watercolor. Today, one of her favorite ways to experience a new city is to wander its streets until she finds the perfect architectural view to sketch or paint.

 After graduation, Lauren returned to the West Coast to begin her career in commercial architecture in San Diego. She has worked on a wide range of project types, including workplace, mixed-use, and healthcare. Today, she enjoys staying engaged with the ever-evolving world of design, traveling whenever she can, and making the most of San Diego's beautiful weather with friends and family.
