Kristabel Chung
Kristabel was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to San Diego during her adolescence. She then went on to study at Syracuse University where she earned her B.Arch and worked in Boston and New York for a couple of years. After working and studying on the east coast for the better part of the past decade, she returned home to San Diego where she was driven to work at a firm that designs the city with care.
Intertwined with architecture, Kristabel finds the most joy coming up with concepts, then trying her best to formalize it in whatever medium from painting, photography, research, sketching, writing, installation, woodworking, jewelry/metalsmithing, etc... Furthermore, she finds deep fulfillment in helping others realize their own ideas whether it be through commission work or mentorship.
Kristabel enjoys spending time with friends/family, biking, hiking, dancing, going to the gym, playing tennis, rock climbing etc… After living and travelling to many places, one of her favorite things to do in San Diego is to pause and take in the fresh air and weather.
