Kailie Johnson
Kailie Johnson is a fifth-generation Bay Area-born Californian raised in Las Vegas. That makes her part beachbum, part cactus. Taking her desert spirit with her, Kailie returned to coastal California to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she received her Bachelor of Architecture with honors. In between her years of school, she bounced from Chicago, to Orange County, to Los Angeles, working and growing a strong interest in urbanism. She studied for a year at the Hochschule Biberach in Southern Germany, where she learned German and developed a love/hate relationship with winter. Ask, and she will teach you how to say “entschuldigung.” In San Diego, Kailie enjoys her car-less commute, small furniture projects, and exploring different neighborhoods on bike and foot.
