
Jacumba Fire Station

The Jacumba Fire Station will be a new state-of-the art 8,500 SF fire station to replace an aging station currently located in Jacumba California. RNT is the Architect of Record for the new station working for the County of San Diego. The station will consist of a 3-bay, single depth drive-through apparatus structure with living quarters to accommodate up to 18 fire staff personnel in three different shifts. The project includes dormitory rooms, restrooms, dining room, day room, gym, storage areas, operational support spaces, offices, ADA accessible restrooms with showers, and a full kitchen. In addition, the project will be a LEED Gold, Energy Net Zero facility designed to support the County’s 30% embodied carbon reduction requirements for new facilities.
