Ethan Mena

Ethan grew up in East Los Angeles and has been surrounded by different forms of construction for as long as he can remember—from cabinet installations and wall framing to building show floor exhibits. Being hands-on with the process of making things gave him an early appreciation for how built objects can shape the way people experience a space and, in turn, create a spark within a community.

After studying architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Ethan began his career exploring how design can reflect the character of everyday experiences. He is drawn to the balance between the practical and the unexpected, and to the ways thoughtful design can make ordinary moments feel more meaningful.

Outside of the office, Ethan enjoys finding good food, learning about cinema, and picking up the next “useless” skill just for the fun of it.
