Brian Iwasaki

Brian looks forward to the unique challenges each project presents. Interdisciplinary collaboration to leverage practical experience, critical thinking and creativity against complex design problems and seeing these solutions come to life during construction are his favorite aspects of the architectural profession; not to mention a celebratory beer with the team after a major deadline push.

Throughout his career Brian has benefited from a wonderful tradition of mentorship; in the architectural profession learning never really stops, and he is happy to fulfill his obligation to mentor others in turn.

In his spare time Brian enjoys four-wheeling, playing guitar, and target shooting. He especially enjoys exploring the California coast with his wife in search of their next favorite café. He can also be found sitting at the dining room table, rolling D20s and adventuring with his friends in their latest Dungeons and Dragons campaign.
