This project is a master plan for the redevelopment of two
key segments of Imperial Avenue. These segments include the
area's between 47th to Euclid Avenue and between 61st to 69th
Streets. Planning design principles include the following:
Create vibrant, identifiable neighborhoods
Incorporate the areas unique site features
Design should maximize pedestrian opportunities
Create identifiable gateways
Provide a variety of housing options
Create Special Traffic Generators
Unify study areas with overall corridor
Create a positive driving experience on imperial avenue
