The new Isla Vista Elementary School
is located in Goleta, California. This 51,000 SF state-of-the-art
school replaced the existing facilities that were originally
built in the late 1950's. A series of staff workshops were
initiated to develop the school's unique teaching program
and help strengthen and enhance the community's identity.This
project won the 2001 AIACC Savings by Design Energy Efficiency
Integration Award and the 2002 CASH / AIACC Award of Excellence.
