RNT Architects and Studio E Architects were retained by the San Diego Padres to design a mixed use development adjacent to the Ballpark consisting of a sixteen story boutique hotel, six story housing loft and a ten level, 1000 space parking structure. The hotel, housing and parking structure retain a similar scale and scheme that was developed for the ballparks adjacent office and retail buildings. The design respects the historic nature and scale of the neighboring Gaslamp District, while promoting the unique identity of the Ballpark District itself.
