Roesling Nakamura Terada Architects and
Page & Turnbull Architects were selected to lead the historic
renovation and adaptive re-use of 21 buildings at San Diego's
Historic Naval Training Center (NTC). Known as the Promenade
Center, the project is the cultural hub within the NTC District
and will contain museums, galleries, restaurants, and offices.
The design team's scope of work involves two phases. Phase
I of the project will include an adaptive re-use Master Plan
for the Center. For Phase II, the design team will establish
design guidelines and architectural standards and tenant improvement
services for selected tenants.
