This DMV office
will replace the existing leased facility. This new office
is designed to alleviate the overcrowding, functional deficiencies
and security problems that are currently experienced in the
existing facility. This single-story project provides approximately
14,777 gross square feet of office spaces. It will be constructed
on a 3.26 acre site. The new facility will be constructed
of exterior stucco finish on steel studs. Roofing will be
metal standing seam and built-up roofing. Building structural
frame will be steel. The facility will be installed with a
security system, inside and outside of the building. This
project will be designed to achieve a LEED GOLD version 2.0, certified
designation.
