Maura Moynahan was born and raised in Gloucester, MA, the oldest fishing port in the U.S. She grew up casting lines at her favorite spot in town, "the breakwater" at the Eastern Point Lighthouse, in the company of her parents, four brothers and four sisters. Maura eventually found her way to the city of Boston and attended college at UMASS, earning a B.A. in Art. Her studies led her to develop a great interest in the history of architecture, and now she’s hooked. Making her father and grandfather proud, she follows in their footsteps by being a loyal Red Sox fan.
