Laura and her sister were already manning the blueprint machine at her father's office in San Diego at a very young age. Having an architect father and an artist mother, her years growing up were full of design projects and constant creativity. With the passion for art in her heart she attended SDSU with the intent of a becoming an artist. After a talk with dear old dad, her eyes were soon opened to that passion's perfect connection to architecture. She soon graduated with a BA degree with an emphasis in Environmental Design. She took every opportunity to visit art and architecture in other countries. Trips to Italy, Switzerland and Australia proved particularly inspirational. In 2003 the birth of her beautiful daughter opened her eyes once again. In her spare time you will find her in her home studio, playing with her torch and kilns creating new treasures to wear or brewing a choice batch of beer with her boyfriend.
