Jeremy Joyce

Jeremy grew up with the beach as a back yard, he spent most of his time building an endless array of contraptions. His parents always encouraged his creativity, despite much concern in watching their oldest son launch his home made hang-glider from the roof of their house. After completing a B.A. from the University of British Columbia, Jeremy decided that a career in Architecture would allow him to combine his creative nature with his interests in the built environment. Jeremy earned his Master of Architecture Degree at the University of Calgary and thrived in the broad curriculum that explored ideas and concepts beyond a strictly architecture program. Jeremy moved with his wife Valerie to San Diego in 2000 and has a son Liam born in 2004. He has taught evening studios as an Adjunct Professor at the NewSchool of Architecture and is a regular visiting critic for student juries.
